It all began with a line
My curiosity about neuroscience, neural networks, and how our minds work, led me to a chance encounter with Neurographica. Neurographica is a simple and accessible graphical language of describing the world developed by Prof. Pavel Piskarev, D.Sc and founder of the Psychology of Creativity Institute.
After becoming a Certified Basics User, I went on to train as a Neurographica Certified Specialist (certificate pending), and have finished Advanced Neurographica Algorithms (some certificates pending). I’m currently enrolled to become a certified Neurographica Instructor.
Neurographica has enabled me to move beyond my own stories and embrace a new career helping others discover their stories.

Absolutely NOT. The beauty of neurographing is that you trust your intuition, you allow the drawing to shape as it wants. Every drawing tells a story if you’re willing to listen. With Neurographica, if you can hold a pen, create lines and circles, then you can neurograph!

You likely have the materials already. For beginners, I recommend you start with: - a black felt tipped pen/marker (Sharpies and PaperMate Flair pens are good examples)
- any coloring tools you have (markers, highlighters, colored pencils, crayons all work great)
- white paper, any size, (copier paper works great, consider doubling up as some felt tip pens will bleed through and you don’t want to ruin the surface underneath)
- a basic ball point black pen
